KMG (represented by Rides-4U) will be displaying its new Inversion ride at the 2010 IISF Trade Show in Gibsonton Florida.
The Inversion is a widely popular ride in the European market. Like its hit counter-part, the Freak Out, the Inversion is transported on one trailer, but has a unique twist. Unlike the Freak Out which swings side to side, the Inversion actually inverts riders upside down, swinging completely around. This will be the first ride of its kind imported to the US and has been purchased by Tim Casper's PBJ Happee Day Shows. The purchase was made during last year's IISF Trade Show and Casper plans to put it to work immediately following the 2010 Trade Show.
Happee Day Shows has events primarily in Arkansas and surrounding states. The Inversion will be the third major purchase by the show in the last three years. Last year, Happee Day added a Rides-4U LED light package to their Fabbri Giant Wheel and two years prior they purchased a Fabbri one trailer Wave Swinger.
In addition to Casper, KMG reported the purchase of a second Inversion by Demas Enterprises. Mike Demas has ordered an Inversion and plans for delivery in July of 2010 with a goal to premier the ride at the Minnesota State Fair in late August.
The ride will have a full LED light package, extra logos, lights and decorations, an additional hydraulic leveling system, and many more features. Currently, Demas, version of the ride has not been named.
Demas decided to purchase the new ride after selling some of his other equipment in an attempt to move forward and invest for the future. Demas especially liked that the ride is transported on a single semi trailer and sets up within 4-5 hours with only a small crew.
